This is an analysis of camera angles and shots as a whole. I have researched into the different effects and feelings that they create in a music video. This has helped me begin to decide what types of camera angles and shots that I will use in my music videos to make it appeal to both my primary and secondary target audience.

This is a presentation about the codes and conventions of rock music videos. I have researched stereotypes, camera work, costume, props, hair and makeup, lighting, location and mise en scene. As I have decided that I my final products will be in the rock genre this will help me a lot. I have found out that is commonly found in rock music videos and what is sometimes found, this will help me to make sure that my final products are part of the genre but unique. Name of the Song

The name of the song that I have chosen to use for my music video is 'LU2'. It is by the band 'Freedom to Glide'. The song is from the album 'Rain' which was released on 11th November 2013, for remembrance day. Each of the songs on the album link to World War II in some way and are all made in memory of the people who served in the war. Freedom to Glide are a rock band from Birmingham, England which is made up of two members who both started off in Pink Floyd tribute band. 'LU2' is a vocal, piano and strings piece that focuses on a prisoner of war. This gives their audience an insight into what it was like for the prisoners of war during World War II. This topic is not ne that is usually addressed and spoken about so by featuring it in a song it will speak to people and help them to better understand the topic better.

Ed Sheehan - Divide Album Deconstruction (Digi Pak)

I deconstructed the album/Digipak Divide by Ed Sheeran and look at how it creates reprenttion using layout, colour, imagery and content. I looked into how they targeted both their primary and secondary. I looked at the overall representation of the album/Digipak and deconstructed it looking at semiotics. This deconstruction has helped me to beignet decide on the target audience for my product.
